Through a sustained repetition of our innovative and inclusive approach, we ensure the safety of humans and cargoes of our in a cost-effective manner. This is done by adhering to the relevant national and international laws.

✓ ADHERENCE TO REGULATIONS

Our services are provided with strict adherence to the laws regulating the countries we operate in. We comply with the business standards applicable to our position, field, and duty. We do not support any misplaced devotion or the pursuit of profit which may result in an infringement of relevant laws, our guiding principles, standards or policy statement.

✓ FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE

Our services are provided in a reasonable and principled manner, encouraging healthy competition and making customer satisfaction our top priority.

✓  BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION 

We completely detest bribery which is regarded as the receipt, provision, request or pledge of benefits, whether monetary or otherwise to achieve competitive advantages which we do not qualify for. Bribery is a punishable offence globally and we are dedicated to adhering to the applicable laws forbidding bribery.

✓  WORKPLACE ETHICS 

We hold our business partners in high regard. We do not condone bullying, discrimination, harassment or any other potentially derogatory or hostile behaviour. We are against discrimination in any form, whether on the basis of race, sexual orientation, gender, or other reasons.

✓  ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCES 

Ownership and use of illegal substances during the course of duty or while representing FMT SHIPMANAGEMENT is prohibited. We have a zero-tolerance approach to the consumption of alcohol and any form of unlawful drugs or illegal substances by any employee whilst providing any services to FMT SHIPMANAGEMENT.

FMT SHIPMANAGEMENT operates under the strict guiding principle of the following drug and alcohol abuse policy. No duties will be performed while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We undertake an ongoing program of mandatory and random drug and alcohol testing for all our personnel.

✓  CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS

We do not partake in activities, ownership and trading in assets which may result in a conflict between our personal goals and that of the organization. Our decision-making capabilities with respect to business issues may be jeopardized by such conflicts of interests. In the event of any doubt, we will consult our respective manager for expert assistance. 

✓  INSIDER DEALING AND CONFIDENTIALITY 

We prioritize confidentiality. As such, we are careful about those who have access to confidential or classified business information. When necessary, we arrange for a confidentiality agreement. We do not tolerate the sharing of any information which may affect the listed price of the organization’s shares on the stock exchange market to trade or convince others to trade in the company’s shares or other company listed assets.
